What Does the Bible Say About Healing?
The Bible shows us that God is able to heal. Many people that Jesus healed in the Bible were sick, blind, or hurting.
But the Bible does not tell us that every person will be healed of every sickness in this world.
We can ask for healing and still trust God’s plan. Healing is about much more than our physical body. The Bible speaks about healing hearts and spirits as well.
God cares when we are hurting, sad, scared, or broken.

How can you pray for healing?
You do not need fancy words when you pray. God is listening and hears what you are saying.
You can pray for it.
- Healing from sickness
- strength during a hard time.
- peace when you are afraid of wisdom for doctors or helpers.
- comfort for your family faith to trust God.

No. The Bible shows us that God cares for us.
The Bible does not promise that every sickness will go away.
Paul had a difficult trial that he asked God to remove.
We read about it in 2 Corinthians 12:7-10. But God did not take it away the way Paul asked. Instead, God told Paul, “My grace is enough for you.”
Here is what this can teach us. We can ask God to heal us, but we also need to trust him when the answer is not what we are expecting.
Faith does not mean pretending we are not hurting.
We can come to God in honesty and trust Him at the same time.
